We have an onsite Optical laboratory where we offer a same-day service, and can fill almost any optical prescription.

Same day service – We can supply most optical prescriptions on the same day you tested your eyes. Our state-of-the-art optical laboratory allows us to manufacture bifocal and multi focal lenses with or without tinting on site, usually within 3 hours.
We stock a wide range of single vision lenses, clear and with anti-reflective coatings, which can be fitted into your own or new frames within 20 minutes. If we cannot make your lenses onsite, we order them from Essilor SA, with whom we have a relationship of more than 15 years. As long-standing customers, we belong to Essilor’s elite EXPERT group of Optometrists, which gives us and you quicker delivery times and more extensive guarantees on their products.
At World of Vision Optometrists, we buy our contact lenses directly from the biggest contact lens wholesalers in South Africa. We stock a wide range of contact lens trials in most brands, including monthly, daily, toric and multifocal disposable contact lenses.
Our favourite brand of single vision monthly disposable contact lenses, Biofinity, are kept in store. Unless you have an extra ordinary prescription, trials and boxes are received within 48 hours of ordering.
